Join us for a behind the scenes look into one of Australia’s most iconic luxury jeweller Linneys Jewellery, an award-winning design studio, which first opened its doors in the 1970s.
Attendees are invited to join us at a sundowner at Linneys Jewellery for a presentation by Alan and Justin Linney, where they will discuss the business and also provide insight into the most concentrated form of wealth in the world, the coveted Argyle Pink diamond, and how they transform the raw material into a finished design.
The private arcade leading to the studio workshop will be open for the duration of the event, allowing guests to view one of the award winning Linneys jewellers creating a piece of handcrafted jewellery.
The showroom will also be open exclusively for the event, allowing guests to peruse the pearl and diamond jewellery and try on as they desire.
There will be time for networking with other family business members while enjoying light refreshments. This is a not to be missed event.
About our hosts:
As the first high-end jewellery designer in Australia to showcase Australian pearls, Linneys has become known for its innovative designs using pearls, diamonds and Western Australian gold.
Linneys history dates back to the early 1970s and a special partnership between two equally passionate men, Alan Linney and Bill Reed. A marine biologist by training, Bill had a vision to take Broome pearls to the world and Alan’s extraordinary, free-flowing designs and retail experience made this dream a reality.
Alan’s unwavering respect for our state’s precious resources, sparkling Kalgoorlie gold, mesmerising Argyle diamonds and lustrous South Sea pearls is expressed through the meticulous attention to detail in each and every Linneys design.
The creative team, which Alan leads to this day, harnesses the time-honoured traditions of fine jewellery-making to forge Linney’s bold, contemporary style.
This is a proud family business that will grow and prosper as the next generation of talent, Alan’s sons Nathan and Justin build on their father’s unique vision.
This is a free event. Please note that if you are not a member of FBA you are only able to attend one of our Family Business Insider events as a complimentary guest otherwise the price to attend is $100 per person.
