Who is it for?

The program is open to Emerging Leaders (both family and non-family members) who are working their way up through the business, but do not yet hold CEO/MD roles.

This 4 month program brings together talented Emerging Leaders who are committed to their own professional development as a cornerstone of furthering their career within their family business.

Through a combination of 3 x 2-day residential workshops, peer learning, work-based projects and coaching this community of learners will be challenged and supported to demonstrate their ability to make a significant contribution to their family business.

At the workshops you will expand your professional network of ‘family business friends’ and be lead through thought-provoking sessions on leadership and strategic business planning by our team of experts. You will learn from the experience of current family business CEOs who will share their journeys through the family business.

Fees and Inclusions:

Pay in instalments – 50% prior to the program commencing, then two payments of 25% each during the program. Call FBA on 1800  249 357 to arrange.

 The program fee includes:

  • The full four month facilitated program – including 3 intensive face-to-face workshops and online learning
  • All program materials
  • Two nights’ accommodation at each intensive workshop
  • All meals at each intensive workshop

About the facilitators

 

Andrew Barter

Andrew has extensive experience in working with families in business and has assisted them with navigating the various complexities and challenges they face. Working with Next Generation Leaders, Andrew helps businesses gain clarity in their future direction, and an achievable plan for how to create success.
Andrew is a Family Business Australia (FBA) Forum Facilitator, FBA Accredited Adviser and Member of the FBA (Qld) State Committee and holds several advisory board and directorship roles with family and other private businesses

 

Andrew Stevens

Andrew spent over ten years working in his own family’s business which specialised in retail, manufacturing and importation. During that time, he held roles in all divisions including Chief Executive Officer.After leaving the family business, Andrew joined a larger family business with operations across Australia, Vietnam and China. He worked directly with the family and founder in the role of South Australian / Victorian Operations Manager.
Before co-founding Uncharted Leadership in 2016, Andrew was Director of the Executive Education Unit at the University of Adelaide, where he led a broad range of Leadership and Management programs for approximately 1,200 participants per year from over 300 organisations, many being family businesses.
