Innovation and Change in the Family Business

While women remain consistently underrepresented in the upper management positions of major companies, there is one sector where they’re leading in far greater-than-average numbers: family business.

The journey that women in family business undertake can be very different from that of women in both large and small corporate environments and not-for-profit organisations that are not embedded in family business. This event has been designed to support and empower women, discuss the unique challenges they face, and showcase the advantages family businesses experience when women play a central role.

Join us on Tuesday 26 June 2018 for the first NSW Women In Family Business Lunch. We are thrilled to have Keynote Speaker Pippa Hallas, CEO of Ella Bache. Three Generations after Ella Bache was formed Pippa holds the role of CEO. Since taking on the role she has taken the family business through many disruptions and changes in the industry. Under her leadership, Ella Baché has expanded to over 150 franchise locations across the country.

Followed by a panel of successful and inspiring women from family businesses, topics will include:

  • How innovation plays a key role in the success of Family Business
  • Adapting to a changing environment, without compromising your family values.
  • The drivers behind good customer relationships
  • Diversity of thought in Family Business.

This is an opportunity to network over a 2 course lunch, and connect with like-minded professional women, both working in and supporting family businesses.
