Family Businesses account for around 70% of all Australian businesses, employing 50% of the workforce.  

FBA is the peak body founded by family business people for family business people. The tensions between the three systems in a family business (Family/Business/Ownership) and the opportunities their interactions create, form the basis for our comprehensive development programs for families in business.

FBA State Chapters run regular friendly, informal workshops and conferences on a range of issues of specific interest to family businesses.

We have an excellent national program of education courses specifically designed for the family business context, including the Family Business Directors Course, Strategic Planning and Leadership as well as an introductory Family Business Awareness Course.
